Months back (in my older blog) I reported Bono (that’s what I name my U2 ipod) sick. Every now and then it will freeze or upon startup, display the sick/dead mac icon. Cute as it was, it meant Bono was dying. Well he died for ‘good” last Saturday, so I submitted him to the iShop at Cineleisure. Today I was told I could collect it and it seemed to be a new replacement complete with fresh “dont steal music” clear wrap and clickwheel sticker. I loaded it and saw that it’s name is “POS7’s iPod”. Was this someone else’s? No biggie of course. I reckon they are just reconditioned. But just a little unsettling to see a strange name for my iPod. Well anyway it’s really good to have him back, the previous commutes seemed a little different….
