Haven’t been posting in a while… so while waiting for my office pc to reboot, here’s a quick one.

Was on leave for 9 calendar days. It went past in a flash.

Went for a 4D3N cruise last week with stopovers in Penang and Phuket. I’d post photos. Penang had great food… cheap as well. I really enjoyed Penang and want to go back again. Phuket - is well Phuket. Had a lazy time on the beach but the shit thing is that as I walked away from the beach at mid-day, I started to have a runny nose and was sufficiently ill by the time we got back to the ship. That sucked.

Over the weekend that followed my one week leave, caught up on 4 movies - The Simpsons Movie, Rush Hour 3, Bourne Ultimatum, Harry Potter. My favourite must be Bourne - it was very nicely paced and I loved the way the movie was shot. Simpsons was ok though it felt more like a long TV episode of the Simpsons and nothing very ‘movie’ about it. It’s not bad though… Rush Hour 3 was funny but lame in parts of course. Harry Potter was entertaining - my, how you kids have grown.

Then back to work. Utterly busy. Up to midnight every night so far. Had a big presentation to do and glad it went ok. I used Keynote 08 and the cool effects resulted in some oohs and ahhs - hehe. I also realised I could use the Bluetooth Presenter function built in the K810i to control my mac without any additional software (like Salling Clicker). That’s really really cool.

That’s it. Another long day today - I hope not. Wifey is on leave but I wish I could join her. Will Flickr my holiday photos soon enough. Looking forward to getting iWork 08 (I have just the trail now - Numbers, Pages, Keynote - they all rock) and iLife 08 - just for iPhoto 08 really.
