Windows - how much I hate/detest/loathe/abhor it!
Published November 15th, 2007 in day to dayHow do I hate thee?
Let me count the ways.
1) You insist on rebooting even though I am trying hard to save my work which I have been working on for half the day. My inputs don’t matter
2) … and if I am not around, you reboot yourself anyway. Critical software upgrades you say.
3) You want me to update the Outlook Junk Mail filter. Even though I have no Outlook installed
I really hate this. Esp point 1. I just lost half a day’s work because of that - and this is not the first time. If someone knows how to disable FORCED reboot let me know. I disabled auto updating but somehow this still kicks in. It’s just plain fucking irritating!
