I feel the same way to my Thinkpad and well PowerBook too - they still play an important role in my life (work and personal respectively) but the N800 plays a very intimate role by being with me nearly everywhere I go, and serving also as a perfect travel companion. With a BT keyboard (coming soon!), case and a spare phone used as a Bluetooth modem, my Internet fix can be had just about anywhere.
