You're right, HelloTwitFace is a mobile tabbed browser app, but it's hiding some quite powerful features too...for example the replies tab allows you to track any reply, even if @simonster is in the middle of the text for example.  It's best described as a "mobile mashup" I think.  The next release is going to include the ability to do saved searches using tweetscan.com (if they can fix reliablity, Summize.com if not).  I like the comment on hellotxt, they need an API badly!
